These Terms and Conditions govern your use of LeanPrep (“we”, “our”, “us”) and the services available at leanprep.in. By accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service Description
LeanPrep offers an AI-powered platform assisting UPSC aspirants. Services include AI evaluation of answer sheets, detailed feedback and scoring, daily practice questions, and performance analytics. The feedback and scores provided by the AI are for practice, guidance, and educational purposes only. They do not guarantee any specific exam performance or outcome.
2. User Accounts
Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
3. User-Generated Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload. By uploading content, you grant LeanPrep a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze it for the purpose of providing and improving our services. High-scoring submissions may be used as anonymized model answers. You confirm that you possess all necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: upload unlawful, defamatory, or obscene content; violate any applicable laws including India’s IT Act, 2000; infringe intellectual property rights of others; reverse engineer or attempt to discover the source code of the platform; use automated systems or bots without written permission; or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All service content — excluding user submissions — including design, graphics, AI models, evaluation parameters, and platform code constitute LeanPrep’s intellectual property and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law.
6. Payments and Refunds
All prices are displayed in INR and are inclusive of applicable taxes. All purchases of credits are final and non-refundable, except as required by law. Unused credits are not redeemable for cash.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability. AI evaluations may contain errors and do not guarantee exam outcomes. LeanPrep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to access the service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify LeanPrep, its employees, licensors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
10. Modifications to Terms
LeanPrep reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days’ notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
